Quick Change One-Ear Headstall — Red

The one-ear cut of the training headstall, in oiled Hermann Oak harness leather with stainless bit snaps.

Same construction as the browband version with the browband and throatlatch removed. The ear loop adjusts, so it fits across a range of head sizes without changing the crown. Stainless snaps at the bit ends carry the same quick-change function, which is the reason this headstall exists. Hand-laced attachments, hand-braided rawhide. From the same limited run made for the Stanford University equestrian team.
