Front Hobbles

Pre-tied front hobbles in heavy rope, with a sliding keeper and no hardware.

They arrive tied, so there is no knot to learn before the first use. The keeper slides to set the distance between the front legs and holds where it is put. Rope construction means there is nothing metal to seize, break, or bruise a leg — for a horse learning to stand hobbled, that matters more than it does once the lesson is set. The same heavy rope used for the leads and reins.
