10 Ft Water Loop Reins

A ten-foot rope rein finished with harness leather water loops instead of slobber straps.

The water loop is a more direct connection than a slobber strap — less hinge, less delay, a finer cue. That suits a horse already soft and working at a level of refinement, and it suits leverage bits or bits with small rings where a slobber strap will not sit. For a horse still learning, the standard loop rein with slobber straps is the better tool. The leather loops are cut from harness leather and soften with use.
