Reins

Loop reins, water loop reins and mecates in marine-grade double-braid, spliced by hand. The rope carries weight, and weight is what moves a cue down the line and returns a clean release when the hand softens. Ten feet for a closed rein, twenty-two for a mecate that doubles as a lead.
