Twenty-two feet of hand-spliced double-braid rope, forming a closed rein and a lead in one piece.
The loop makes the rein; the tail is a lead, long enough to tie with, work a horse from the ground with, or carry as a connected spanker for a horse that needs backing up. Because it is one continuous piece, there is no buckle to fail and nothing to drop when a rider steps down. The rope carries weight, and weight is what moves a cue down the line and returns a clean release when the hand softens. Rein length adjusts to the horse. Leather poppers at the end.

Over the years I have purchased 3 sets of reins from AE, they are the best I know of, they are all that I use. The oldest being 6 years old, still fully in tact showing no structural break down, being used every day, only some, to be expected, color loss. So, I'm happy customer. They are expensive, but very good, so is the shipping, which I wish was included considering the price. All in all I'm satisfied and should ever need another set, I'll be back. There is some misleading pricing info that states a lower price which is not the case. I checked every type of reins you sell, and nothing offered is "from" that price. That one factor is a turn off and somewhat puts a legitimate blemish of dishonesty on an otherwise great reputation and track record. Respectfully Andy
